Recreation at Wapley Hill Wood
 

This woodland incorporates an excellent example of an Iron Age hill fort and has an impressive display of bluebells in April and May.

How to get there:

Wapley Hill Wood is part of The Marches. Stansbatch is the nearest town or village.

1 mile off the B4362, Shobdon to Presteigne road. Follow the brown tourist sign at Byton.
