Winter Car Park Closures

The Forestry Commission has 134 car parks in the New Forest. From 7th November 2008 until 30th March 2009 25 of these car parks will be temporarily closed. The remaining 106 car parks will be open for public use, providing alternative car parking close by. By closing certain car park during the wet winter months we aim to reduce the overall damage to car park surfaces and target limited maintenance resources more efficiently.
