Wenchford
 

The dappled shade from the oak trees over Blackpool Brook make this a picturesque and popular picnic site. There are a number of picnic benches and sites for BBQ's. Children and adults can enjoy the specially adapted picnicking area.

How to get there:

Wenchford is in Forest Of Dean. Blakeney is the nearest town or village.

From the A48 at Blakeney take the B4431 Parkend road. Three miles along this road you will find the site signposted on the right hand side.

Refreshments are provided by a mobile cabin which operates at weekends and summer weekdays, depending on the weather.
