Cannop Cycle Centre

 

This centre which was formerly the site of Cannop Colliery, is the ideal place to begin your cycling day out. As well as hiring bikes the centre also offers refreshments and toilets. It is the starting point for the Forest of Dean Family Cycle Trail which consists of eleven miles of waymarked, surfaced tracks, most of which are on former railway lines.

How to get there:

Cannop Cycle Centre is in Forest Of Dean. Coleford is the nearest town or village.

Take the B4226 Coleford - Cinderford road and at the crossroads with the B4234, turn north and follow the signs to the Cycle Centre.
