Maulden village or Clophill village is the nearest town or village.

Maulden Wood is situated off the A6 towards Clophill village. Rowney Warren is just off the A600 towards Haynes. Potton Wood can be reached by taking the B1040 Gamlingay Road, just out of Potton.
