Orienteering in North East England
 

Orienteering post and compass.Orienteering is a sport where competitors navigate their way between control points marked on a specially drawn map. In other words, map reading for the adventurous!

There are a number of orienteering courses in forests throughout the Northeast. They are specially designed so participants with a wide range of abilities can tackle them. Anybody can have a go – just pick up a map for one of the sites below and set off on an adventure!
