Dog walking at Delamere Forest Park

FAMILIES WALKING IN DELAMERE FOREST. DELAMERE FPWhy not take your best friend along to Delamere? You will be in good company as many people head to the trees to enjoy a long walk, there are so many sticks to fetch! or wend your way uphill to the top of Old pale and then stop to enjoy the view. If it is a warm day your furry friend might like a drink or take a dip in Blakemere.

We are trying to encourage people to use the 'stick and flick' idea in the forest, If your dog fouls the path in the forest please use a stick to remove the waste from the path. However, If your dog does foul near the information centre, carparks or other sensitive areas we ask you pick up the waste and use the bins provided, either the normal waste bins or the green composting bins at posts 12  & 13 (both near the access points onto Old Pale)

There are biodegradable poo bags available at the information centre.

If you have any questions please contact us at delamere@foresrty.gsi.gov.uk
