Exercise for the kids

Family at the children's play area in Ha...Children represent the fastest-growing obese group in the UK.

Do you encourage your children to be active and do you get out and about as a family? If you show enthusiasm for activity then your kids will be far more likely to enjoy exercise.

And it's not just their health that will benefit, their brain power will too. In a recent study, active children (four active sessions per week) out-performed low activity children in mental tests by about five per cent. (For more information check out BBCi at www.bbc.co.uk and search for "children's exercise".)
