Community woodland
The Community Woodland team are responsible for creating new community woodlands in The Mersey and Red Rose Forests covering Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside & South Lancashire. They are based at Delamere Forest Park in Cheshire.
The team is working together with other partners to restore derelict, underused and neglected land to new community woodland. Some of the woodlands that the team have created include Old Pale, Viridor, Higher Folds, Sefton Meadows, Rose Farm, Barlows Farm, Wheatacre, Maypole and Fairchild's farm.
The team includes:
