West Cumbria

 

The Ennerdale Beat Team covers North West Cumbria and is based at Peil Wyke overlooking  Bassenthwaite Lake and in Ennerdale Bridge. The team is responsible for Cogra Moss, Ennerdale Valley, Broadmoor, Heckbarley & Crag, Lowther Park, Ulldale & Dent, Blengdale, Miterdale, Parkgate & Irton Pike, Giggle Alley and Cropplehow.

In Ennerdale the team is working in with the National Trust and United Utilities in the Wild Ennerdale partnership. Whilst in Eskdale the team is working with the local community looking after a Japanese Garden and developing woodfuel as a local source of energy. For more details of this work check out the link to our partnership pages.
