From the all access Ridding Wood trail to the demanding Silurian Way, from the Go Ape to The North Face Trail , Grizedale Forest Park offers an unrivalled day out for everyone.

Start your day with a visit to Grizedale Visitor Centre and let our friendly staff help you choose your activities for the day ahead. cycling, walking, Go Ape, discovering sculptures and waymarked trails are all available or create your own adventure.

The Grizedale Project is transforming Grizedale, along the way some of our visitor facilities are being upgraded and are currently housed in temporary accomodation. The cafe has been replaced by a temporary van serving a limited range of hot and cold food from Fridays to Sundays only. This facility will only be available until the end of the year, we apologise for any inconvenience caused, and we will endeavour to announce the new cafe and catering facilities as soon as possible.

What's of interest
The Visitor Centre will be closed for Christmas from Tuesday 24th December 2008 reopening on Saturday 3rd January 2009, Please ring the Visitor Centre on 01229 860010 for any other information.
