Woodland initiatives
Woodland Initiatives play an important part in creating and maintaining a sustainable countryside, and have a large network of expertise and experience. Woodland Initiatives operate at the sub-regional level and characteristically offer a wide range of service from advice, information, training, promotion and support to various points in the wood chain from owners to contractors and processors. Woodland Initiatives Coordinator Angela Pollard has just taken up the new post of Woodland Initiatives Coordinator at the Small Woods Association (SWA). While based at SWA's Head Office in Pontesbury, Shropshire, Angela will cover the whole country. The post is being jointly funded by the Forestry Commission and the Countryside Agency. Angela can be contacted on angelapollard@smallwoods.org.uk Documents Covering Letter Response to the Report Final Report Supplementary Information A Journey of Wood This leaflet, co-funded by the Forestry Commission, is designed to give a brief overview of the work of Ironbridge Woodland Products.
