Filming on forestry commission land
The Forestry Commission owns or manages over one million hectares of forests and woodlands in England, Scotland and Wales. All these forests are managed by Forest Enterprise, an executive agency of the Forestry Commission.
We positively welcome enquiries from location managers and producers who would like access to this vast and diverse estate for filming.
We can offer every type of woodland and forest setting from the formal landscaped splendours of Forest Arboretums and Gardens to the wild and sweeping grandeur of Britain's upland Forests. Hidden away in the forest there can be found many old buildings, bridges, quarries, rockfaces, rivers, lochs, ponds and open spaces as well as wonderful panoramic vistas.
It is our aim to: - deal promptly with your enquiry;
- arrange your location visit;
- suggest a range of possible sites for you to see;
- make professional suggestions on forest types;
- advise on safety aspects;
- arrange an appropriate location agreement;
- negotiate location fees;
- find local contractors; and
- supply forest material for set-buildings.
Please select a location from this map for contact details or call our enquiry line: 0845 FORESTS (0845 3673787) or email us.
