Forestry Commission NE England Region and ConFor's [external link] north England region, with the support of the Regional Climate Change Partnership [external link], organised this event to raise awareness about how trees, woods, forests and timber contribute to tackling climate change. 

Trees, woodlands and forests and the products and services they provide have a major role to play in tackling climate change in NE England.
