Get your card stamped with the special club rubber stamp every time you come to one of the children's activities at Alice Holt ( see Alice Holt link on the right and find them listed in Holt Happenings). When your card is full you'll get a super Reward Gift and a new card to fill in for another even better reward.

Special Club Days
From time to time there'll be special activity sessions at special prices for club members.

Things to look out for in autumn

When you're out and about there are different things to look for at different times of the year. Where the ground is muddy you could look out for tracks on the ground. You'll probably see lots of dog prints but if you're lucky there'll be deer, squirrel, bird and even fox tracks - look at the sheet in your pack for some examples of animal tracks.

It hasn't been very good summer but let's hope we get a  nice bright autumn so you can get out and about in the woods. The leaves are beginning to change colour and the woods will soon be a feast of colour with red, yellow, gold, orange and brown on show.  Then when the leaves fall you'll be able to see much further between the trees and there'll be new views in the forest.  There'll also be more space for you to create some amazing pictures or sculptures like the ones shown in your activity pack.

Many of the animals are getting ready for winter and they'll be making the best of all the fruits, seeds and nuts on the trees and plants in the woods. Look out for nibbled cones and empty chestnut cases. Chestnut cases are very spiky so take care if you pick one up!  Come along and enjoy autumn in the forest. This is one of the best times of year to make use of your club activity pack. Hope to see you around!
