All-ability – these trails are level and well surfaced, making them suitable for wheelchairs & pushchairs. There are also regular resting points for people who can only walk for short distances at a time.
More demanding – trails which may not be well surfaced and include sloping stretches. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and no resting points.

Dog Walking

Dogs are certainly welcome at Haldon Forest Park – what better way for you and your dog to get some exercise?
We have several short ‘dog trails’ so that your dog can relieve itself at the start of a walk away from the main trails, and dog bins are provided close to the car parks. More information for dog owners.
