Forest Enterprise Scotland Framework Strategic Plan and Forest District Strategic Plans: Consultation
 The documents on this page set out Forest Enterprise Scotland’s (FES) strategy for managing the national forest estate. They were open to public consultation between April and June 2008. Reports on the consultationRevised strategic plansFollowing the helpful consultation feedback the Forest Enterprise Scotland Framework Strategic Plan is being revised and will be available from January 2009 (also published on this website). A recent review of the Forest Enterprise Scotland structure has required us to reflect these changes in the revised Forest District Strategic Plans. Finalised Forest District Strategic Plans will be available during March 2009. The Draft FES Framework Strategic PlanThe information below was put out to public consultation between April and June 2008. The Scottish Government’s Forestry Strategy was published in October 2006. The draft FES - Framework Strategic Plan defines how Forestry Commission Scotland will implement this strategy on the national forest estate and what other actions it requires from its operating arm. The plan provides direction for 14 individual Forest District Strategic Plans. Drafts of these documents are available below, as well as the Strategic Environmental Assessment for each of the 14 district plans.
